Director and Principal Podiatrist

Zoe Lewis (B.Pod) gained her degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia and subsequently ran a successful Podiatry business in NSW for many years before moving to New Zealand. She has previously lectured in Australia on topics such as Diabetes, Vascular Disease, Geriatric Podiatry and Falls-risk prevention, and regularly attends international conferences, workshops and seminars to remain up to date with the latest research.

Zoe recently completed further education through Harvard University, U.S.A in lifestyle medicine to create personalised healthy living plans for patients.

Zoe is continuing her education through the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons, and works part-time as the Surgical Assistant to Bruce Twaddle, a globally recognised Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-speciality training in sports surgery. Bruce Twaddle is the head of Orthopaedic Trauma at Auckland City Hospital and previously held the prestigious position of Professor of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington in the United States.

Zoe is registered with the New Zealand Podiatry Board. She has interests in specialty areas such as Surgery; Diabetes and the Diabetic Foot; Vascular disease; foot ulcers and wounds; Geriatrics; Cosmetic podiatry; and General podiatry.

At Podiatry Medic we believe in a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive management approach to certain conditions and collaborates with Surgeons, General Practitioners, physiotherapists and Nutritionalists with the aim of obtaining the best outcomes for patients.
