What does ingrown toenail surgery involve?

Depending on the condition of the nail, a partial nail avulsion may be performed to remove only the problematic section while preserving as much of the natural nail as possible. Where appropriate, the nail matrix may also be treated to significantly reduce the likelihood of the affected edge growing back.

How does nail bracing work?

A specialist brace is carefully applied to the toenail to create a gentle corrective force across the nail plate. Over time, this can help reduce excessive curvature and pressure along the edges of the nail.

Unlike nail surgery, the nail is not removed. Treatment is non-surgical and the brace is designed to remain discreet while the nail continues to grow.
